The island plays host to a wide variety of events. Some of which are borrowed from Equestria, some of which are original and exclusive to the island. There are so many different events that happen every year, most of which usually take place in the plaza in front of the ClockTower Library.

Princess Mystical Melody typically announces ahead of time when an event is about to begin, how long it will last, and when it will end. The events themselves are open to everypony, even those visiting from other lands.

During most events, Peddler Power is typically seen in the Saddleville Marketplace, setting up his giant "Gumball-Happitor 5000", a device that ejects large gumball-like objects containing items for ponies to use. These items can range from small amounts of bits, to common medical items found in the Marketplace, and even a rare weapon or two. All ponies are allowed one free pull with the machine during an event.
