For over 5,000 years, the small island known as Maradice Isle has stood strong, proud, and prosperous. The island itself houses a population of around 30,000 ponies, almost all of whom are natural born warriors by trade. Ponies from this island tend to be hardened and mighty in battle, but at the same time, they're still able to find things such as compassion, friendship, and even love.

Though this island is relatively peaceful for the most part, it is NOT immune to the ill effects of conflict and war. In fact, the primary reason why the islands ponies all still value their skills with offensive magic and weapons is BECAUSE they're still prey to the ill effects of war.

Despite the doom and gloom surrounding such topics, the island still manages to flourish, mainly due to the fact that trade has opened up with outside nations recently, allowing goods both new and old to finally make their way out of the island and to lands unknown. Many travelers and tourists have also started coming to the island, further increasing it's overall prosperity.

The island is approximately 14.5 miles in size and diameter, with the bulk of this land being composed of the Great Plain, which acts as a "Hub World" of sorts to the rest of the islands locations.
